Quality Inn Hamburg

Hotel was older which was not a problem. The 1st room they gave us had a bubble in the the ceiling above the shower that was leaking water out of. When told of problem will send someone to look at it. No one showed just moved us after about an hour. It was a handicap shower in which I had to take a bath. Then the 2nd room he gave us he forgot to activate the 1 of the cards for the room. Inconvenience.

Great location, off Interstate 90, nice hot breakfast included in the price. There was a huge storm that knocked out the internet connection, which was why we booked this hotel. I complained to the manager about it affecting my ability to work and he credited me a full night's stay. I was very pleased with his handling of the situation. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The rooms are on the small side and the bathrooms are old looking. The staff was very kind and helpful when we had trouble with the heater. They also helped to get us accommodated when they realized we were a family of six. ...read more

The hotel is obviously undergoing much needed renovation. I was put in a room that had not been renovated. The carpet was torn, the overall decor was shabby and worn, the tile in the shower was mildewed and although told there were no smoking rooms in the hotel, the room had obviously been a smoking room previously - the smell was unbearable. All of the lights on the wall that the headboard of the bed was on did not work. When I reported this to the front desk they asked if that was a problem for me! Having expressed that it was they then quickly brought me keys to another room but did not tell me where the room was located until I asked and did not offer any help for me to transfer to that room. Nice and clean, as expected from a Holiday Inn. A good value for the Buffalo area. Room was a bit small, probably due to larger handicap bathroom.
